Coach Best enters his 7th year with Mill Valley Football.  This is Coach Best's second year coaching Linebackers after 3 seasons as the Freshmen Defensive Coordinator.

Coach Best is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas and holds Master’s Degrees from both Arkansas State and Pittsburg State University. He is a Special Education Teacher at MVHS and is married to his wife Courtney.  He and Courtney are expecting their first son, Brooks, in December.  They also have a dog, Rusty.
